LA LOCHE — RCMP are asking the public for help in locating a missing 48-year-old woman last seen Monday afternoon.
Eilleen Montgrand was reported missing to La Loche RCMP on May 12 around 4:30 p.m. She was last seen at approximately 1:45 p.m. near mile marker six on Highway 956, about 10 kilometres southwest of Highway 155.
Police say they have been checking locations Montgrand is known to visit and following up on all available leads, but are now turning to the public for assistance.
Montgrand is described as being approximately five feet to five feet two inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds. She has brown eyes and short brown-black hair. She was last seen wearing pajama pants and may also be wearing a red and black jacket.
Police say Montgrand may appear confused or disoriented and may not speak to strangers.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact La Loche RCMP at 310-RCMP.
