Spring sessions start March 12, festival starts July 18

Estevan will be hosting many talented musicians for the Estevan and District Music Festival from March 11-23.

The Estevan Art Gallery and Museum has announced details of a thematic night out and a fundraiser.

$100,000 allocated to sponsorship and training program.

Competitors at the upcoming Weyburn Rotary Music Festival will have their performances judged by an adjudicator, including Laurien Gibson for voice, Dianne Gryba for piano and Nora Wilson for band.

The library collected and displayed artwork by local artists, and then invited the community over for a cultural night out. There were no rules, and all mediums, experience levels and ages were welcome to participate.

The Orpheum Theatre was packed on Feb. 17 for Saskatchewan musician Jack Semple's tribute concert to Canadian music icon Gordon Lightfoot.

After four years of a break, the Estevan Arts Council brought its winter arts camp back to the delight of many local families.

The nine-member Spirit Singers are enjoying the process of rehearsing for four performances of the Broadway musical, 鈥淵ou鈥檙e A Good Man, Charlie Brown鈥� on Feb. 23-25.

The temporary exposition will remain on display through April 5, and will be available to view and tour during the museum's operating hours.
