WEYBURN – The Weyburn Curling Club (WCC) is trading brooms for golf clubs as it prepares for its annual fundraising tournament.
The event, on June 21 at the Weyburn Golf Club, is a day of friendly competition.
"This tournament is one of our favourite ways to bring people together,” said Kristen Jarocki, President of the Weyburn Curling Club. “It’s a welcoming event that helps us build momentum in the curling off-season. Every dollar raised goes right back into the club, rink operations, and our community programs.”
The day will begin with the WCC Annual General Meeting at 11 a.m. at the golf course clubhouse, where members will review the past season’s successes and upcoming initiatives. Golf registration follows, with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.
Teams for four or individual golfers are welcome to join, with the entry fee covering green fees, cart rental, supper and prize opportunities.
Golfers are encouraged to register by email at [email protected].
