Warnings to the public are being given to watch for needles in parks, alleys and other areas of the Town to be watchful for.

On March 25 at approximately 12:10 p.m., Wollaston Lake RCMP received a report that someone had been seriously injured near a residence on聽Hatchet Lake Denesuline First Nation.

The investigation showed that the affected person's death was the result of an overdose by drugs self-administered during his time in custody.聽

On March 14, Loon Lake RCMP conducted a traffic safety check stop on Island Lake First Nation (also known as Ministikwan).

On Feb. 20 at approximately 5:20 p.m., La Loche RCMP executed two search warrants, one at a residence in La Loche and one at a rural residence outside of La Loche.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority has warned people in the north of the spread of pneumonia. The SHA is encouraging families to check if they are eligible to receive the vaccine.
