REGINA — The YWCA has launched its ninth annual SAY YES! fundraising campaign.

The campaign runs from May 20 to June 19, with the goal of raising $100,000 to support some of Regina’s vulnerable women, children and families with shelters, outreach support, programs and more.

Last year, the organization served over 15,000 women, children and gender-diverse individuals.

However, with limited spaces and resources, the YWCA turned away over 3,500 adults and 1,200 children.

This makes the SAY YES! campaign more urgent than ever, said the YWCA Regina.

"Every day, women and families in Regina are making impossible choices about their safety and survival," said Melissa Coomber-Bendtsen, CEO of YWCA Regina.

Coomber-Bendtsen added SAY YES! isn’t only a campaign but also a support someone would want their loved one to have.

The YWCA is encouraging residents to make a one-time donation or become a monthly
