Moose Jaw Pride Week offers 20 events from May 25 to June 1

Moose Jaw Pride Week 2025 features a full lineup of inclusive events for all ages and adults, celebrating diversity, identity and community.

MOOSE JAW — Moose Jaw is set to host an exciting and inclusive Pride Week from May 25 to June 1, with 20 events planned by a volunteer team of five organizers. The week will blend community celebrations, educational workshops, performances and social gatherings — many open to all ages, with several evening events for adults 19+.

“Our goal is to celebrate loud and proud, reminding Moose Jaw and all of Saskatchewan that our 2LGBT2SQ+ community members are safe, valued and loved,”  organizers said. “We've worked hard to make these events as financially accessible as possible, and we encourage everyone to come out and join the celebration.”

Sunday, May 25
The week begins with an affirming church service at 10:30 a.m. at St. Andrew’s United Church. Later in the day, a 19+ Speed Friending and Decorating Social will run from 4 to 7 p.m. at Cornerstone Country. Pre-registration is required; attendees can register by calling or texting 306-529-7660.

Monday, May 26
All-ages karaoke takes place from 6 to 9 p.m. at Mitsu. There is no cover charge, but guests are encouraged to make a purchase. Later in the evening, Cornerstone Country hosts 19+ Trivia starting at 9 p.m.

Tuesday, May 27
At 2 p.m., Donna Boyer will lead SafeTalk, a suicide prevention workshop, at Family Hope. That evening from 6 to 8:45 p.m., the Moose Jaw Public Library will host a tabletop and board game night, open to all ages. Those interested in playing Dungeons & Dragons can text 306-216-6585 to sign up. At 8 p.m., Cornerstone Country offers 19+ Line Dancing and Music Bingo.

Wednesday, May 28
Youth and adults are invited to Paint Night from 6 to 8 p.m. at ArtisaNGrounds. Registration is required and can be completed online at . Earlier that day, from 4 to 5:30 p.m., Ell Bird will lead “Cultivating Identity,” a writing workshop focused on identity development, at the Festival of Words office. For 19+ audiences, Cornerstone Country will host an Acoustic Open Mic Night from 8 to 11 p.m.

Thursday, May 29
Evening events continue for adult participants at Cornerstone Country with Moose Jaw Idol at 8 p.m., followed by karaoke at 10 p.m. (19+).

Friday, May 30
At 5:30 p.m., the Moose Jaw Museum & Art Gallery will open its PRIDE Exhibition, an all-ages event. For adults 19+, Cornerstone Country will host a drag show at 9 p.m. (entry by donation), followed by live music at 11 p.m.

Saturday, May 31
This day marks the largest all-ages gathering of the week. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., there will be a Pride walk, entertainment and a bring-your-own picnic event at Crescent Park. A movie screening at the Moose Jaw Public Library follows at 2:30 p.m. That evening, 19+ guests can attend PRIDE After Dark at Cornerstone Country, starting at 9 p.m.

Sunday, June 1
Closing out Pride Week, two outdoor, family-friendly events will be held in Wakamow: Canoeing from 2 to 4 p.m., followed by a Coming Out Campfire from 4 to 8 p.m.
